RTA Announces Service Timings for 2026 New Year Holiday

Dubai. Roads and Transport Authority. 29^th December 2025:

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the operating hours for all services during the New Year holiday on 1^st January 2026. The announced timings cover Customer Happiness Centres, paid public parking facilities, public bus services, Dubai Metro and Dubai Tram services, marine transport services, as well as service provider centres (vehicle testing).

Customer Happiness Centres

All RTA Customer Happiness Centres will be closed during the New Year holiday on 1^st January 2026. Smart Customer Happiness Areas at Al Barsha, Al Twar, Al Kifaf, as well as RTA headquarters, will continue to operate as usual on a 24-hour basis.

Service Provider Centres (Vehicle Testing)

Service provider centres will be closed during the New Year holiday on 1^st January 2026. Official working hours will resume on Friday, 2^nd January 2026, in accordance with the approved operating schedules.

Dubai Metro (Red and Green Lines)

Public Bus Services (Dubai Bus)

Note

Bus Route E100 will not operate from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station starting from the afternoon of 31^st December. The last trip will depart at 12:00 noon from Abu Dhabi and at 14:00 from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station, with services suspended until 4th January 2026. Passengers are advised to use Bus Route E101 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Abu Dhabi during this period. Bus Route E102 will operate from Ibn Battuta Bus Station on 31^st December from 14:00 onwards until the end of the day.

Marine Transport

Public Parking

Public parking will be free of charge on 1^st January 2026, except for multi-storey parking facilities and Al Khail Gate N-365. Parking fees will be reinstated on Friday, 2^nd January 2026.
