Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 22 October 2025: As the weather turns cooler and Dubai sparkles under twinkling lights, the final week of the Festival of Lights 2025 invites families and friends to capture unforgettable Instagram-worthy moments before the season concludes on 26 October. Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the city continues to shine with family fun, fireworks, festive food, and unforgettable celebrations for all ages - offering a final chance to soak in the season's most photogenic and family-friendly experiences.

From dazzling fireworks and vibrant markets to sparkling mall celebrations and festive flavours that shine bright on every plate, here are some of the most Instagrammable and unmissable experiences lighting up Dubai this week…

FIREWORKS THAT WOW

The Festival of Lights fireworks conclude this weekend at Global Village on 24 and 25 October at 9pm, painting the sky with vibrant colours and offering a picture-perfect festival finale for loved ones to enjoy together.

FRONT-ROW MAGIC AT CITYWIDE EVENTS

Those looking to frame magical family memories at world-class performances can witness global comedy legend Russell Peters take to the Coca-Cola Arena stage on 25 October, while Praveen Kumar headlines a Tamil-language special at Live@Play by Hive Al Quoz on 25 October. Over at Dubai Festival Plaza, young ones and parents can step into a world of captivating theatrical storytelling with Lights & Legends - The Stories of Diwali on 24 and 25 October - featuring song, poetry, folk music, and dance.

Zabeel Park is hosting a free-to-attend Ghar Jaisi Diwali event on 26 October - complete with live concerts, performing arts & parades, cultural exhibitions, and 30 F&B offerings serving diverse Indian cuisines. Visitors can explore multiple photo opportunity zones, perfect for snapping those last festive portraits under twinkling lights. The event's star-studded lineup includes the iconic Mika Singh and Neha Kakkar, as well as the world's youngest established Sarangi player Nabeel Khan and Indian actor Neeraj Madhav - making it a can't-miss family finale for the Festival of Lights.

INSTAGRAM-WORTHY CELEBRATIONS

The city continues to transform into a canvas of light and colour. Friends and families heading outdoors should not miss Global Village's milestone 30th season, transforming the destination into a cultural carnival of dazzling fireworks, live performances on the main stage, mouthwatering Indian delicacies, and endless family fun. Over at Waterfront Market in Deira, families can admire the largest Rangoli installation made of 60kgs of spices until 26 October.

City Centre Deira is set to debut a first-of-its-kind Escalator Fashion Show on 25 October - offering featuring runway-ready shots.

Culinary artistry shines just as bright this week, with limited-edition authentic flavours that capture the spirit of the season. Families and friends can indulge in festive dining experiences at Armani/Amal, Atrangi, Dhaba Lane, Pincode by Kunal Kapur, and Jamavar - creating share-worthy foodie moments for families to capture while celebrating together.

With Festival of Lights 2025 concluding on 26 October, the countdown is on to experience the city at its most radiant. Families, friends, and visitors are encouraged to head out and capture the final glow.
