DUBAI – February 21, 2023: The second day of the largest annual food and beverage sourcing event in the world, Gulfood 2023, takes place today (21st February) at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). Here are some of the highlights you can expect to see:
 
• At the Inspire Conference, H.E Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General, Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, will give a DET lunch briefing: Setting up your F&B business in Dubai – why and how, at 11.35am.
• H.E. Mr. Jaan Reinhold will visit the Estonia pavilion at 11am. H.E. will be available for interviews between 1pm and 4pm today – you can indicate interest by replying to this e-mail.
• There will be a joint venture signing ceremony between Ghassan Aboud Group and Halal Quality Control at 12.30pm at Ghassan Aboud's stand.
• Over at Top Table, there will be a series of masterclasses and chef talks taking place throughout the day. These include the below, among others:
o Chef Talks – ‘How BRF contributes to a diverse world cuisine' with Paul Clifford, Group Editor at Hospitality Group – itp, and Manish Chandna, Chef at BRF, who will be talking about the company's diverse roster of chefs and how they master different cuisines, at 12.30pm.
o 50 minute ‘Dubai World Cuisine' Masterclass by Daniele Sperindio and Saverio Sbaragli on “Neo Italian cuisine” the classic reinvented at 2.15pm.
o Chef Talks – ‘Authenticity and the push for reinvention' with Thembalethu Zulu, Editor of Caterer Middle East, Daniele Sperindio, Chef and Owner of ART DI SPERINDIO, and Saverio Sbaragli, Chef at Al Muntaha. During this session, the two multi-award winning Italian chefs will discuss the expectations around their national cuisine and if there is a way to reinvent Italian food for the next generation of diners at 3.05pm.
o 40 minute ‘Dubai World Cuisine' Masterclass by Aitor Jeronimo and Carmen Rueda on ‘Unconventional desserts meeting Michelin star Basque cuisine' at 4.30pm.
