etisalat by e& in UAE Provides Free Calls to Syria and Turkey to Support Communities Affected by the Earthquake

Abu Dhabi, UAE - 9, February 2023: Etisalat UAE, branded as etisalat by e&, announced today that it is offering free calls from its UAE network to Syria and Turkey for a week as part of its humanitarian response to the recent earthquake that impacted the two countries. This initiative aims to support ongoing efforts to connect communities and keep people updated on developments.

The offer applies from today, 9 February, until 16 February, and all etisalat by e& mobile (Consumer & Business) customers will be able to stay connected with their families and loved ones in Syria and Turkey by having the possibility to use up to 1000 free minutes.

Customers traveling to Syria and Turkey on roaming can receive free incoming calls and make unlimited outgoing calls to the UAE or within Syria and Turkey.
This initiative is part of e&'s (formerly known as Etisalat Group) efforts to give back to communities and support those in need especially during such a tragic time and a natural disaster. This is also in line with the UAE leadership's endeavor and generosity in providing aid to the earthquake victims in Syria and Turkey. The aerial support for search and rescue efforts, provision of food and supplies, and assistance with evacuation are a testament to their compassion and commitment.
