Sharjah, November 05, 2022: Fine acting and a well-told tale of modern society cast its spell on theatre lovers as London Apartment, a critically acclaimed social satire, debuted at the 41st Sharjah International Book Fair theatre.
The Arabic-language social comedy, set in an apartment in London, highlighted many current social issues and had the audience in splits as the theatre outside the fair's venue at Expo Centre Sharjah reverberated with echoes of laughter.
Written by Issa Ahmad and directed by Mosa Arty, the play is led by renowned artists Tariq Al Al and Elham Al Fadalii. The cast includes Juma Ali, Mays Gumir, Shehab Johar, Shahad Salman and Mishal Al Eidan.
London Apartment is part of 123 immersive theatrical shows and roaming parades curated for SIBF 2022 that is being led by 22 artists and performers from 8 countries.
