Dubai, UAE – Dec 14, 2021: Dubai International Academy - Emirates Hills, the flagship school of Innoventures Education, was identified by Dubai Tourism and the organizers of Dubai Fitness Challenge, as one of the schools' that is committed to promoting an active and healthy lifestyle. To encourage this positive outlook further amongst students, a special interaction was organized for the students of DIA at Emirates Hills with some of the Kenyan star athletes who are world record holders such as Ferdinand Omanyala Omurwa and Janet Jepkosgei Busienei amongst others.
The athletes addressed the students aged 12 to 19 yrs. at DIA and spoke about perseverance, determination, hard work and commitment as core values to achieve success, which resonated deeply amongst the enraptured students. They were very inspired by the runners who were holders of Olympic and World Champion titles as well as fascinating titles such ‘Marathon Winner' and ‘Fastest Man in Africa'.
The interaction concluded with a fun race where the athletes participated with the entire school team including the students, P.E. department staff and school academic heads who ran alongside the Olympian team!
