August 24, 2021: In order to provide timely and effective treatment to children in all emergency situations, Aster RV Hospital, JP Nagar has launched a state-of-the-art Deployable Paediatric Emergency Department also called Pediatric Emergency Systems 2.0 at the hospital premises.
This unit with a capacity of 4 beds has been set up in association with Aster Volunteers, the global CSR arm of Aster DM Healthcare. This initiative is the need of the hour keeping in mind the COVID third wave and its anticipated impact on children.
This modular unit can be set up in couple of hours as fast as 190 mins and is equipped to handle all kinds of emergency requirements related to children by fast-tracking the entire process and avoiding any delay in emergency situations. The modular ICU is effective not only for COVID but also for other health emergencies.
