IKEA Opens Doors to the Second Store in Abu Dhabi in Al Wahda Mall

United Arab Emirates, 19 November 2020: Swedish furniture giant, IKEA, today announced the opening of its second store in Abu Dhabi and fifth across the Emirates in Al Wahda Mall. The store offers a wide array of inspiring solutions and convenient services for the many people with the objective of getting closer to them. Located in a much more convenient location, the store is spread across over 2,100 square metres on the first floor of the Al Wahda Mall, Abu Dhabi.

IKEA has historically been in the outskirts of cities and town. With the opening of the store in Al Wahda Mall, IKEA is taking a step forward in adapting to the global socio-economic trends of moving closer to people's home in cities and meet their need of convenience and accessibility. In addition to that, the regions favourite Swedish home furnishing retailer is supporting Abu Dhabi's 2030 vision of creating an environment that respects the past while setting new standards for the future. 
The store will be home to approximately 2,000 low and medium sized ready-to-assemble furniture and home essentials with quick access for customers who require their essentials on the go. The store will also offer inspiring solutions, and convenient services of home and kitchen planning, textile stitching and others. For all other products, customers will have digital access to the full range and can place their orders in-store to have them delivered or opt for store delivery. In addition, a Swedish Café will be available for dine-in and take away including favourites such as the shawarma, the hot-dog and Swedish pastries.

The store is open from Sunday to Wednesday, 10 am to 10 pm and Thursday to Saturday, 10am to 12am.
