He was a great scholar and an astute politician, who cut across party lines in maintaining relationships and focused on the future of India as the top priority.
I had the occasion to present to him the project initiative of Aster Volunteers in New Delhi while he was President.
The warm and simple stature he maintained, despite the highest office he occupied was commendable. May God bless his departed soul.”
