School recorded significant improvements in 31 areas and is among only a handful of schools that have increased their DSIB rating this year
 
 
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, June 18, 2020:    GEMS Wellington Academy – Al Khail has been awarded a ‘Very Good' rating in the latest KHDA DSIB inspections, further strengthening its credentials as a premium school offering the National Curriculum for England and world-class facilities, part of the outstanding GEMS Wellington family of schools.
 
GEMS Wellington Academy – Al Khail was praised in the DSIB inspection report for its special emphasis on offering ‘outstanding care and support for students, and reinforcing positive behaviour characteristics, which is central to the school's policy'. 
 
Pivotal to the school's successes and students' outstanding achievement is the inspirational and dynamic management team, which was applauded in the report for upholding ‘outstanding partnerships with parents'.

The report cited measurable improvements in English, science and maths attainment, and improving systems of self-evaluation and their positive impact on the quality of teaching and student outcomes. It also pointed to the outstanding attitude of GEMS Wellington Academy – Al Khail students towards work and their ability to manage their own behaviour.
 
The DSIB inspection results reflect the commitment of GEMS Education to deliver the UAE National Agenda 2021 to further elevate the quality of education in Dubai.
