Dubai, United Arab Emirates, April 08, 2020:    One of the leading German cosmetics companies, cosnova, which holds some of the beauty world's favorite brands such as essence and CATRICE, is supporting in the fight against the Coronavirus with the campaign “Keep your #Kisstance” For every person who expresses their solidarity with #kisstance on social media and encourages the idea of social distancing, cosnova will put another five Euros in the donation pot. The aim is to reach a total of 1 million Euros together for the frontliners while spreading social awareness on the cause.


COVID-19 is currently dominating lives around the world. The most impressionable way of slowing down the spread of the virus is by maintaining physical distance. Hence, why we've heard phrases such as “social distancing” for the very first time. However, because physical distance does not necessarily mean social distance, the cosmetics company cosnova is calling on their communities on the Facebook and Instagram channels of its brands essence, CATRICE, and L.O.V to send a virtual kiss to their loved ones with the hashtag #kisstance. In this way, the beauty company is giving everyone the opportunity to contribute to the fight against the virus, to spread awareness on the cause, to signal their closeness to others in times of physical distance and to ultimately, express love and compassion to the world in such tough times. 


Social responsibility, especially in difficult times


As part of the solidarity campaign, cosnova is already donating 500,000 Euros to Doctors without Borders. With the help of its followers, the company aims to reach a target of 1 million Euros for each #kisstance post, cosnova will donate a further 5 Euros to the organization's aid programs against the spread of the Coronavirus. 
'Especially in these challenging times, we see it as our social responsibility to make a contribution to the joint efforts of our society', explains Yvonne Wutzler, Chief Marketing Officer at cosnova. 'In the corona crisis, Doctors without Borders is particularly dedicated to providing medical care for the people who are most at risk. We greatly admire and support this great commitment'.
