Abu Dhabi, UAE, 10 February, 2020:   Ahmed Omran, Vice President of Corporate Communications, received an award of appreciation from the UAE Ministry of Education (MoE) for Yahsat's participation in the 4th edition of National Science, Technology and Innovation (NSTI) Festival.

 

Coinciding with the UAE Innovation Month, the event was held to foster a scientific temper among young Emiratis. Members of Yahsat Youth Council participated in various activities, including interactive workshops, space-related talks and games. 

 

Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and organised by the MoE, the festival showcased innovative projects by Emirati students in the fields of science, technology, environment, biological sciences, mathematics, chemistry and much more. 

 

A leading global satellite communications operator, Yahsat actively nurtures Emirati scientific talent, through its involvement in such community events.
