Sheffield Private School takes top honours at the Credence High School's annual Quiz Masters 2020

The sixth edition of the UAE's popular inter-school quiz competition witnessed record participation

 

DUBAI - January 21, 2020:   The Sheffield Private School won the sixth edition the annual UAE Credence Quiz Masters Tournament, organized by the Credence High School, Dubai. The 2020 edition the UAE's largest inter-school quiz competition was held recently in the school auditorium in the sprawling Credence campus in Al Khail, Dubai.

 

Sharjah Indian School, Juwaiza, and Our Own English High School Sharjah (Boys) took home the trophies for the first runner-up and the second runner-up respectively.

 

Nearly 30 schools from across the UAE participated in this year's event conducted by Mr. Adittya Nath Mubayi, ace quizmaster, knowledge entrepreneur and author.

 

'It all started as a dream in 2014 wherein we envisioned young children coming together to Quiz and today we were proud to see the energy of the youth who came from different schools to participate and cheer their teams,” said Mr. Nalapad Abdulla, Chairman, Credence High School, Dubai, adding “the competition has grown each year and we stand committed to take this forward and make it the longest and the best Quiz tournament for schools in UAE.' 

 

Ms. Deepika Thapar Singh, CEO and Principal Credence High School, Dubai, said: “The sixth edition of the UAE Credence Quiz Masters Tournament was a battle of brains – as it has been in the previous years. It was an exciting event and the energy was invigorating. It was a pleasure to witness the event which was attended by students from schools across the UAE.' 

 

The nation-wide Quiz Masters Tournament, launched in 2014, emerged as a coveted and much popular quiz contest in a few years. The event became instrumental in giving students a break from traditional classroom learning while expanding their knowledge and facilitating them to explore new skills. The Quiz Tournament is an interactive and knowledge sharing session for both the students as well as audience present at the event. 

 

Credence High School, a consistently ‘GOOD' rated CBSE curriculum school, is home to students from over 34 nationalities 

 

The school, which has kids from pre-kindergarten grade, is all set to welcome the first batch of Class XI students from the academic year beginning April 2020.
