Abdulla Nalapad gets 10-year UAE 'Gold Card' visa

Dubai, September 17, 2019:  Mr. Abdulla Ahmed Nalapad, Managing Director of Nalapad Investments, received the 10-year visa from the UAE authorities today. Mr. Nalapad joins an elite list of industrialists and investors who have been granted the UAE's long-term residency visa so far. 

Headquartered in Dubai, Nalapad Investments has business interests across sectors. The Nalapad group of companies in the UAE include Credence High School, Bin Eid Diesel Trading Company, Nalapad Transport By Heavy Trucks, Alliance Energy, Nalalad Petroleum Transport and Blue Line Star Transport Company.

Commenting upon receiving the honour, Mr Abdulla Ahmed Nalapad said: “I am extremely pleased to receive the 10-year visa. We see this as an honour and privilege that the UAE authorities have bestowed up on us. The UAE has been home for some years now, and we will further continue make more investments in this blessed land.”

In 2019, the UAE implemented a new system for long-term residence visas. The new system enables foreigners to live, work and study in the UAE without the need of a national sponsor and with 100 per cent ownership of their business on the UAE's mainland. These visas will be issued for 5 or 10 years and will be renewed automatically.
