Bawabat Al Sharq Mall takes visitors back in time  with Ramadan Zaman

Visitors to experience unique traditions of Ramadan from the distant past while shoppers get a chance to win a Mercedes-Benz GLC

Dubai, United Arab Emirates - May 20, 2019:   Bawabat Al Sharq Mall, Abu Dhabi's premier family shopping and leisure destination, travels back in time treating visitors to a completely different Ramadan experience. 

Ramadan Zaman rediscovers the unique traditions of the Holy Month followed in the olden times. Special activations take place at five locations inside the mall each dedicated to a particular traditional activity. 

From Kids Play Area, Henna & Calligraphy, Coffee & Dates, Traditional Games, to watching old Arabic television series on a vintage TV, puppet shows and Hakawati - storytelling sessions is surely be a walk down the memory lane. 

Another highlight is Dekakeen, an Arabian street market theme area with lavish hand-made fabrics and jewellery shops. 

Additionally, there are dance shows from different countries, with three performances every day during Eid, between 9:00 PM – 12:00 AM.

Shoppers can shop for AED 200 at any store or AED 400 at Carrefour for a chance to win a Mercedes-Benz GLC. Those who shop on the first floor get double chances to enter the vehicle draw.  The raffle draw for the Mercedes-Benz GLC will take place on 7 June.
