Dubai, UAE, April 02, 2019: The Dubai International Financial Centre Free Zone launched an initiative that aims to encourage companies to identify individuals who may be eligible for long-term residence permits for investors, foreign nationals with exceptional talents and others, as determined by the United Arab Emirate government in 2018.
The Dubai International Financial Centre Free Zone (DIFC) launched an initiative that aims to encourage companies to identify individuals who may be eligible for long-term residence permits for investors, foreign nationals with exceptional talents and others, as determined by the United Arab Emirate (UAE) government in 2018. The deadline for submitting the nominations is Wednesday, 3 April 2019.
Ten-year residence permit for executives
Out of the available residence permit categories, Fragomen believes that foreign nationals with an existing employment contract in the UAE who meet additional conditions as listed below, may be of particular interest to companies in DIFC willing to nominate their candidates:
- A minimum bachelor's degree;
- At least five years of practical experience;
- A minimum monthly salary of AED 30,000; and
- Valid health insurance in the UAE.
Those eligible under this program may benefit from a ten-year visa for executives.
