Designed as a 24/7, work-to-weekend bag, the Whitney combines a sophisticated silhouette with on-the-go versatility. The subtle but distinctive “M” shape on the front of the bag nods to the designer's initial, a letter he's been sketching since he was a child. The bag also features a sleek, distinctive push-lock fastening with pyramid stud detailing.
Now, for the fall fashion season, Michael Kors introduces new, luxe additions to the Whitney family.

The Whitney was originally introduced in three polished shapes—the sleek shoulder bag, the winged satchel and the roomy tote bag. This season, a new backpack silhouette will join the Whitney lineup.

The Quilted Whitney: It's all about tactile polish for the quilted Whitney, which comes in three glossy leather options—smooth and crinkled—and is finished with quilted stitching.
The Mixed-Media Whitney: Make a statement with the mixed-media Whitney, designed in a mix of suede and snake-embossed leather.The quilted stitching is outlined with geometric studs for added texture.
The Tri-Color Whitney: 1-2-3 chic: this iteration features a tri-color design for an graphic spin on the sophisticated style. It comes in a velvet and leather combination as well as a leather-only style.
The Metallic Leather and Logo Whitney: Go for gold with this paneled leather style featuring complementary metallics and paired with the brand's iconic logo-print canvas for a signature finish.
The Tweed Whitney: A luxe option for every day or an evening out, this new Whitney option is designed in smooth leather with a textural black-and-white tweed front.
The Whitney Bag launches in Michael Kors stores and online, from August 2018.
