UAE, 15 July, 2018 - The Dubai Government Workshop (DGW), in cooperation with leading tire safety company Dunlop, successfully organized a two-day training program on tire technology at the workshop's training centre. The sessions were held as part of DGW's continuing efforts to enhance the technical skills of their employees--allowing them to further improve their abilities to carry out their duties, which in turn can greatly contribute to reinforcing individual performance of the employee and the overall level of the workshop. The event is part of a series of workshops and training programs to be organized by DGW that look towards at transferring new knowledge and sharing the latest developments across various technical aspects of car maintenance like tire repairing, tire alignment testing and other emerging technologies.

His Excellency (H.E.) Humaid Sultan Al Mutaiwee, CEO, DGW, stressed on the importance of enhancing the technical skills and abilities of its staff, which is being seen as an essential component in the move to achieve the highest standards of safety, in line with the rapid progress of the car maintenance field and the continuous commitment of adapting the highest levels of quality and excellence locally and regionally. He also shared that the work in the workshop are being done in accordance with a clear vision that complements the move to provide outstanding and pioneering services in the management and maintenance of vehicles through the adoption of best international standards and practices, as well as achieving and maintaining a sustainable technical mechanical center--widely benefiting from the smart transformation being experienced across various fields and technological innovations.

The sessions covered key topics such as the introduction of employees to elite manufacturers, the latest equipment and new tire techniques, especially tire recycling and renovation. The workshop also helped attendees to be more familiar with tire materials, tire construction, tire damages and causes and the new innovative ideas that they can utilize in the field of tire maintenance in the GCC and the UAE.
