Dubai, UAE, October 30, 2017: Wrapping up the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Network of Women (NOW), an employee network at UAE Exchange, organised an awareness session on Breast Cancer for its women employees and guests at UAE Exchange global headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Jhuma Lodha, Consultant Obstetrics & Gynecology from Brightpoint Royal Women's Hospital, addressed the all-women audience on the need for self-examination, regular medical check-ups and healthy lifestyle. The one-hour session was followed by a 45-minute Zumba class to encourage the participants' fitness goals. Goodie bags with mammogram and pap smear vouchers were also distributed at the event.
Network of Women (NOW), an employee network at UAE Exchange, was launched earlier this year on International Women's Day. Created by UAE Exchange women employees, the NOW forum focuses on women empowerment and their professional development.
