Held annually at the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club, HH The Emir's Sword is one of the most definitive equestrian events on Qatar's horse-racing calendar and is a perfect mix of elegance and outstanding performance.
The thrilling competition witnessed CHOPIN, mounted by jockey Alberto Sanna win the HH The Emir's Trophy presented by Longines. At an event supported by Longines, elegance cannot be far behind and so, the occasion also crowned Cyrine Cherif as the most elegant Lady of the Day and honored her with a stunning Longines timepiece.

As a token of its long-running passion for equestrian sports and its attachment to its lady customers, Longines launched a new line with shapes and materials inspired by iconic elements of the equine world. The official watch of the event is a stirrup-shaped timepiece in steel set with diamonds, which displays a silver-coloured flinqué dial featuring Roman numerals It is fitted with an overstitched leather strap matching the rider outfit.
