Abu Dhabi, UAE. 23 February 2017: Al Hosn Armored Systems, a subsidiary of Tawazun Holding, announced a new project to produce ‘Armored Room, an innovative protection solution for (troops, personnel, etc.).
The 'Armored Room' is designed and built to international standard specifications with the possibility for re-sizing according to customer's needs and uses.
Al Hosn which was officially launched at the International Exhibition of National Security and Resilience, held in Abu Dhabi in 2015, specializes in production of ballistic vests and protection solutions.
The company's key operations focus on the development, production, import and export of protection solutions. It also produces stand-alone hard plates, which are entirely developed and tested in the UAE. The technology used by the company could also be utilized to armor and protect light and heavy vehicles
Al Hosn's flagship product is a hard body armor plate, which the company uses for various products, and most importantly has the ability to stop level 3+++ according to the US National Institute Justice standards.
Al Hosn products are made to withstand humidity and high temperatures, using steel with composite materials during manufacturing as well as polymers to ensure the best performance.
Commenting on these recent developments, Al Hosn General Manager, Dr. Mohammed Al Teneiji Stated, “Over the last 2 years, since Al Hosn Armored Systems was established, we have been actively involved in research and producing products that are in high demand in the local, regional and international markets.”
