Dubai, United Arab Emirates - 18 February 2017: Innoventures Education recently held their annual Athletics Championship on 12th February at Dubai Sports City.
The championship was attended by nearly 600 students from across the Innoventures Education schools Dubai International Academy (DIA), Collegiate American School (CAS), Raffles World Academy (RWA), and Raffles International School (RIS).
Dr. Ahmad Saad Al Sharif, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and Deputy Director General at the Knowledge and Human Development Authority attended the event as the Chief Guest.
At the end of the championship, DIA had the highest score numbers from amongst the primary and secondary schools, as well as the highest overall scores.
The Innoventures Education Athletics Championship is an annual event for students to showcase their sportsmanship, team spirit, and aptitude towards nonacademic activities.
Innoventures Education places a significant emphasis on extra curricular activities, and the Athletics Championship reinforces this. The Group believes that sports brings all community members together and enhances co-operation between the various teams.
