Al Noor Training Centre and Bank of Sharjah invites corporates across the UAE to be part of the
CSR Football Tournament from 24th February, 2017 to 25th February, 2017.
Dubai, 18th January 2017, UAE: Al Noor Training Centre for persons with disabilities has teamed up with Bank of Sharjah to organize an exhilarating and action packed event this coming February. “Al NOOR – BANK OF SHARJAH FUNFAIR CSR FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT 2017” will be a 2 day event from 24th February - 25th February'2017. Bank of Sharjah has been a great supporter of this noble cause and has contributed again by being a key sponsor for the 5th consecutive year. The Al Noor's fundraising event invites corporates across UAE to be sponsors of the event which will help corporates serve their CSR initiative and lend their support to the cause of special needs. It also encourages organizations to come forward and contribute towards a noble cause and spread happiness in the lives of the children at the centre.
The football tournament will see an active participation by 16 teams comprising of 160 football enthusiasts from various companies in UAE and will be held at ANISA- Al Noor Indoor Sports Auditorium. It is an all-purpose indoor sports stadium located centrally at Al Noor Centre, behind Mall of the Emirates, Al Barsha 1. The facility invites all sports enthusiasts to team up in their corporate leagues, university teams, or as individuals to book and play their matches at Al Noor's facility and lend their contribution and support to children with special needs.
Ms. Aida Armali, Manager of Bank of Sharjah expressed her joy for backing up Al Noor in various needs, for being a part of this tournament and stated that, “Philanthropy has always been at the heart of Bank of Sharjah since inception. Our commitment to society and our dedication towards supporting social causes has always been a clear objective. Events like the Al Noor-Bank of Sharjah Ramadan CSR Football Tournament help us foster a better understanding of the special needs community and encourages us to make a difference!”
The tournament will be professionally managed by Ahdaaf Sports Club, their main aim is to promote a healthy and active lifestyle and bring together people from different communities through the medium of sports. The teams will have to give each other a tough fight to win the coveted “Al NOOR–BANK OF SHARJAH FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT 2017 TROPHY”. The runner-ups and their teams will also be awarded with free play vouchers at ANISA- Al Noor Indoor Sports Auditorium, Medals and Sponsor prizes. The tournament will promote the spirit of team work, sportsmanship, focus and endless fun all the while supporting the cause of special needs. All the proceeds from this event will be utilized for operations of Al Noor Training Centre.
