Abu Dhabi, UAE – 03 December 2016: This year, Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) and Nawah Energy Company (Nawah), the operating company co-owned with Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), celebrated the 45th UAE National Day in style.
Two events were held at ENEC's headquarters at Masdar City in Abu Dhabi and at the Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant site for the employees of both entities. The celebrations were attended by H.E Mohamed Al Hammadi, ENEC's CEO, and H.E Mohammed Sahoo Al Suwaidi, acting CEO of Nawah.
The event gave all employees the opportunity to participate and celebrate in the richness of Emirati culture. Activities included several heritage shows, henna painting, competitions and workshops.
