Abu Dhabi, 3 December 2016: Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi's business and lifestyle destination, hosted residents and visitors of Abu Dhabi for a fun-filled first day of UAE 45th National Day festivities yesterday, December 2nd. The Island's stunning waterfront Promenade was packed with guests who had the opportunity to enjoy an array of performances celebrating the UAE's culture and heritage including Ayyala, Yola and Harbia dancers, traditional drummers, and a National Day parade.
At 9 pm, the skies over Al Maryah Island were lit up in a spectacular fireworks display, before the evening culminated in a magnificent National Day parade. The celebrations will continue on December 3rd.
