Dubai Health Authority celebrates 45nd UAE National Day

United Arab Emirates, Dubai, November 29, 2016:  Ahead of the 45th UAE National Day, His Excellency Humaid Al Qatami, Chairman of the Board and Director-General of the Dubai Health Authority(DHA) congratulated on his behalf and on behalf of all employees of the DHA, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Shaikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, and the people of the UAE.

Al Qatami said that this day is a proud day for the UAE and its people. He highlighted that DHA is working to further develop the health sector and is working on implementing initiatives and programs that have been chalked out in the DHA's Dubai Health Strategy 2016-2021. The strategy is extremely detailed, has15 programs and 98 initiatives, all of which are set to further strengthen and promote the growth of Dubai's Health Sector. 

Al Qatami highlighted that enhancing patient care and provision of accessible specialized quality care is an important objective of the Authority.

As part of the 45th UAE National Day celebrations, Al Qatami toured the heritage village at the DHA headquarters where several activities were planned to celebrate the occasion. Several stands with live traditional cooking, a cook-off challenge, traditional activities such as henna painting were organized. Staff members celebrated the occasion with much fanfare and enthusiasm.
