Dubai, UAE, November 24, 2016: Tiffany & Co. unveiled its magical Holiday windows on 21 November in its flagship boutique in The Dubai Mall, marking the beginning of the beautiful holiday season.
Every year, friends join Tiffany in a special gathering to celebrate the opening of the gift-giving season with the unveiling of its legendary windows depicting a Tiffany New York Christmas.
In the most beautiful festive spirit, while holiday melodies were playing live, the guests were invited to discover dazzling displays that showcase trees trimmed with jewels and vignettes of iconic New York City landmarks that are a nod to Tiffany's heritage.
A window featured a lavish picnic in Central Park with jewel-filled Christmas crackers, drinks and cakes. A miniature flagship is also featured with elegant snowdrifts sweeping onto the main floor and Tiffany Keys artfully arranged at the base of the Art Deco doors. In keeping with the glamour and sparkle theme, another vignette shows a Park Avenue terrace overlooking a glittering skyline complete with crystal chandeliers and a gem-laden tree with Tiffany Victoria® jewels. The windows were designed in a palette of pastels, shimmering metallics, robin's-egg blue and winter white—the colors of the famous Blue Box, which are incorporated into every scene.
A recurring design element is an archival motif inspired by a spray of diamonds, which framed the renowned Tiffany Yellow Diamond for the 1939 New York World's Fair.
Reproductions of the fireworks motif were created as overlays for the boutique façade and create a spectacular LED light show.
Tiffany also presented at the event its holiday campaign video that captures the sparkle of the season and the sense of surprise, passion and delight that Tiffany jewels inspire. The holiday campaign theme, “Make the World Sparkle,” is both a call to action to make the world a brighter place, as well as an invitation to give a gift that lights someone up with joy. The ultimate gift: a Tiffany Blue Box® and the sparkling present within it.
The theme communicates that it's not just what's inside the Blue Box that sparkles. The person who is given the gift also shines—as does the world around them. Actor Elle Fanning, who also appeared in Tiffany's fall 2016 Legendary Style campaign, will be featured in a campaign film that captures the spirit of a Tiffany holiday. Glimmering snow-covered streets and the twinkling lights of a Manhattan skyline set the scene, symbolizing the timeless union of the iconic city and the brand.
