Dubai, UAE, November 8, 2016: Carrier announces the launch of a new line of energy-efficient residential and light commercial HVAC systems specifically tested to UAE standards set by the regulators. The new systems use the environmentally-balanced refrigerant, Puron® which does not emit any Ozone depleting chemicals, is non-flammable and non-corrosive.
The new HVAC products include a high-efficiency hi-wall unit, which uses inverter technology and offers excellent energy efficiency ratings with greatly reduced energy consumption and improved performance in new elegant design options. The UAE launch included the new Desert Master™ rooftop package, a Eurovent-certified Airovision™ air handling unit, and a new variable refrigerant flow unit, which offers high energy efficiency ratings that meet the technical requirements of the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology and Abu Dhabi's Quality and Conformity Council. The units are all designed and built to efficiently operate at the high ambient temperatures experienced in summer in the UAE and to comply with the local mandatory regulations governing air conditioning or HVAC equipment.
“We are pleased to have hosted these events, which allowed us to connect and collaborate with our distinguished customers and dealers from across the United Arab Emirates and to update them about our product innovations,” said Mohammed Al Qaisi, General Manager, UTS Carrier. “At Carrier, sustainable innovation is at the core of what we do. We continuously evolve our products to new levels of operational efficiency, while always meeting or exceeding government regulations.”
At the launch event held at Abu Dhabi earlier, more than 300 participants heard presentations from Carrier UAE business leaders and engineering experts as well as manufacturers from Korea, China, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia, highlighting the new product line's high energy efficiency ratings and features.
