Ajman University of Science and Technology strives to ensure its students are abreast of the market trends and in its endeavor the Department Architectural Engineering at the College of Engineering invited Ms. Betina Lagerstrom, a Feng Shui Master.The ancient art of Feng Shui has existed in the Far East for centuries but it has made its way to the Middle East and with the recently architectural development in the region, it has found footings.

The public lecture by Mind Growth Companion Ms. Lagerstrom provided an interesting insight into the mystic world of Feng Shui, contrary to popular belief it is not dominated by religion or confined to culture rather its diverse applications can be utilized on the macro scale of a city or a micro scale of a room. She explained that to achieve the holistic effect of this concept the energies emanated by the earth, humans and surrounding have to be in tandem through proper channeling.

She elucidated about the different schools and concepts practiced along with recent examples from across the globe. Her years of experience in the field has made her a popular figure amongst property owners and developers in the United Arab Emirates and Ajman University students immensely benefitted from it through this session. A question answer session ensued the lecture and Sheikha Nahla Al Qassimi and faculty members presented a memento of appreciation to Ms. Lagerstrom.
