1 Million Privé, the fragrance
Seven years ago, Christophe Raynaud joined forces with Olivier Pescheux and Michel Girard to dream up 1 Million Eau de Toilette. The leathery, animal scent illuminates a touch of blood mandarin and cinnamon. He has retained these final two blazing and sparkling ingredients for 1 Million Privé.
In a twist, he has enhanced the fragrance and incorporated noble materials to take it from classic to unique.
The heart is an extraordinary adventure of nargile tobacco enriched with precious myrrh. The base notes are hot and sensual with a blend of legendary patchouli and tonka bean absolute. Exciting and explosive!
This is a combination of rare materials in warm gold and copper tones with the oriental reflections of myrrh resin and the matte depth of tobacco. The 1 Million Privé man appears beneath your nose: elegant, sometimes frivolous, often extreme. Never where we expect him, he is always out of step and... intense.
Lady Million Privé, the fragrance
'Addictive', 'enchanting', 'forbidden'... When Anne Flipo, creator of Lady Million and now the Privé version, evokes the scent of this captivating and irresistible woman, it's a world in itself that comes through in fragrant waves. With notes of orange blossom and vibrant wood, Lady Million Eau de Parfum plays the seduction card, attracting her partner to an almost dangerous romantic pairing.
Far from toning things down, Lady Million Privé takes the adventure one step further to territories that are hypnotic and profound, sensual and oriental.
The amazing trio of sunny heliotrope flower, hot and creamy vanilla and raspberry seals the enchantment.
In the base notes, soft and captivating cocoa bean comes to the fore, followed by honey and vibrant patchouli. An irresistible narcotic effect and a wave of heat like a soft, enveloping and voluptuous sirocco wind. An invitation to desire and a fragrance of escape.
The partners in crime
She is as blonde as he is brown and as seductive as he is mysterious.
Hana Jirickova is Lady Million, a golden girl in a leather jumpsuit like something from The Persuaders!, designed by Julien Dossena for Paco Rabanne. Her eyes show her attachment to a life on the edge. Behind these exquisite features, this star model who has posed for the best of them lives her life with gusto. A native of the Czech Republic, she is currently living in New York City after two years in Paris.
When Hana was completing her studies at the Prague Art Institute, Sean O'Pry, her partner in crime with a 1 Million dollar face, was putting his body to the test on the American football field of his native city in Georgia. With his athlete's physique and petrol-blue eyes, Sean was spotted at 17 and conjures up images of legendary supermodels in the collective imagination. As handsome as Greg Hansen and as charming as Werner Schreyer, Sean O'Pry is irresistible, cut out for adventure. He's a golden boy, destined to steal hearts and delight the not-so-tender one of his indestructible Lady.
The future is theirs
Red carpet, photographers and spotlights. Hollywood, Paris, London and Saint Petersburg. Luxury, opulence, glamour, vacuity. A dash of boredom and an overdose of bla bla bla.
A glance right and a wink. Cling! He takes her hand and leads her. Together, they run, get lost and hide. She's the Bonnie to his Clyde. In the line of fire is the pure pleasure of maddening, invigorating adrenaline that thrives on shivers.
A safe opens with a snap of the fingers. They're there. Sparkling, intense and precious: the famous gold bar and the insolent diamond.
As the door closes behind them, the world in hot pursuit, the partners in crime go over the film in private.
At daybreak, they are gone. A legendary scent lingers in the air. A finger to the lips. What was that? Shhhh... Silence is golden. The future is theirs.
The density of amber-hued gold
For dressing the world in gold, there is no one better than Paco Rabanne. In the mid-60s, Françoise Hardy was illuminated in a dress formed of nine kilos of fine gold plates, inlaid at the collar with some 300 carats of diamonds. The same radiance inspired the 1 Million bottle – the big-spender gold bar updated by Noé Duchaufour Lawrance in 2008.
For her, the bottle is cut to mimic the Regent. Discovered in India in the 17th-century, this famous diamond weighing in at more than 400 carats in its uncut form is part of the French Crown jewels and kept at the Louvre museum.
In the Privé version, the bottles are lit by the light of an eclipse. The gold becomes even more intense with tones of amber while gold plates stand out on the caps: 'Privé'!
The rear is bare and translucent, hinting at an amber-hued liquid. Paco Rabanne is a master in the art of revealing just enough.
