Dubai, UAE, September 15, 2016: Sally Hansen is proud to be the exclusive nail partner for 3.1 Phillip Lim and to create the custom nail look for the Spring 2017 fashion show during New York Fashion Week. “For Spring 2017, I wanted the nails to feel stark and dynamic. To avoid a “white-out” effect, metallic is layered on top to evoke the collection's hardware and inspiration. The overall effect is brushed – as if done by the hand of a young girl – but still elevated, refined and accessible,” explained Phillip Lim.
THE INSPIRATION
“Keeping in mind the various references of 3.1 Phillip Lim's Spring 2017 collection from Western to Victorian, we came up with a nail that is accessible yet elevated. Not just a solid color, but a white with a metallic overlay. The nail is painted in two coats of Sally Hansen Xtreme Hard as Nail White On and then lightly brushed on top with strokes of Sally Hansen Xtreme Hard as Nail Celeb City. The result is an optical,
