Dubai, UAE, September 15, 2016: Global Village, the region's leading family entertainment and cultural destination, hosted a number of key senior government officials on September 7th for a briefing session to provide them with updates, in preparation for its 21st season. Headed by Brigadier General Abdullah Ali Abdullah Hassan Ghaithi, the Director of the General Administration of Security Bodies, Enterprises and Emergency and head of the Events Security Committee, the briefing session was attended by heads of Dubai government authorities that will participate in the 21st season of Global Village. Some of the bodies included Dubai Police, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil Defence, Dubai Ambulance Services, Dubai Health Authority, Roads and Transport Authority and Dubai Economic Department.
During the session, Global Village CEO, Ahmad Hussain bin Essa provided the committee with significant updates on the operational plans for the 21st season. These included enhanced parking layout plans, new bespoke entertainment, well secured entry and exit points along with the inclusion of the new pavilions for the upcoming season.
Brigadier General Abdullah Ali Abdullah Hassan Ghaithi said, “The committee is committed to creating a comprehensive program to ensure maximum security measures. Our primary objective in every season is to contribute to the success of Global Village and provide a safe and secure experience to their guests. This meeting was important to help shed light on the most important changes and improvements the site will be witnessing during the coming season, which in turn has provided us with a clear direction towards the operations and processes that we will need to deliver. We will be working closely with all parties in Global Village to overcome any challenges and to develop a solid plan that will fulfil the expected requirements.”

With a successful partnership behind them in the last season, Global Village will continue to meet its government partners periodically through the duration of the event, with an aim to receive continuous feedback through their expertise in order to provide its guests the highest levels of delivery as a cultural and entertainment entity.
Global Village is getting ready for its 21st season launching on the 1st of November, which will have a wide range of new offerings across entertainment, food and shopping, providing a brand new experience everyday this season!
