Dubai, UAE, 8 August 2016:  HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Chairman of Smart Dubai Office (SDO), received HE Humaid Mohamed Al Qatami, Chairman and Director-General of Dubai Health Authority (DHA), at the DEWA head office in Dubai. The visit comes as part of DEWA's commitment towards improving cooperation, developing partnerships, and exchanging skills and information between the government organisations.

“In adherence with the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to make Dubai the smartest and happiest city in the world, we work to enhance cooperation between all government organisations and entities, and to work as a team to continue our journey towards excellence, while supporting a comprehensive and smart development in the Emirate,” said Al Tayer.

“We work to combine efforts, and focus on developing policies, strategic plans, and initiatives in the Emirate regarding Information Technology (IT) and smart government, to ensure smart transmission, and the continuity of innovation and creativity in these fields. We adopt services that support smart transmission, in cooperation with government entities,” added Al Tayer. 

Al Qatami commended SDO for its efforts to enhance Dubai's position as an international role model to follow, to achieve a connected, integrated smart city, capable of implementing modern technology to serve residents in Dubai, and achieve their happiness.
