UAE Business Solutions launches Restaurant Consultancy Division and appoints Dillon Daryanani as Commercial Director

- management firm taps into sector as the industry's dynamics change -

Dubai, UAE, July 25, 2016:  Dubai-based management consultancy firm, UAE Business Solutions (UBS), announced the launch of its restaurant consultancy division to support the changing F&B industry in UAE. With estimated 7000 restaurants already operating and 1000 more expected to open by 2018, UBS aims to provide complete management solutions including business reviews for existing outlets and business planning for new players. Its division's profile will offer market research, feasibility study, business planning, operational support and commercial strategy targeting both new and existing restaurants. While research estimates a drop in the sector, industry experts anticipate a major shift as market faces old versus new dynamic. As food service sector continues to evolve existing restaurants will have to reinvent in order to retain presence while new concepts will have to be prepared to compete with established brands for sustainability.

Heading the newly formed division is UBS' Commercial Director Dillon Daryanani, a serial restaurateur, with extensive experience in creating and managing restaurants. Having also worked with a number of independent outlets in Dubai, Dillon brings holistic expertise on all aspects of setting up; from staffing, suppliers, outsourcing, kitchen management, food handling, menu development, costing, budgeting and more

'Industry experts anticipate a drop across both casual and fine dining restaurants throughout the UAE. However, we are likely to witness new concepts entering the market as well as struggling diners changing strategies and injecting marketing budgets to boost results. There's an urgent need for restaurant management firms to support new entries with market intelligence plus review performances of stressed outlets. Our consultancy is based on several factors including overall analysis to determine sustainability and market response. Dillon Daryanani extensive experience will allow us to cater to new operators as well as those in dire need for assistance” said Stephen Armitage, UAE Business Solutions Managing Partner.

UAE Food services market will continue to be significant as new retail spaces become available and tourism retains momentum.  Independent operators are expected to launch unique concepts to drive F&B sector forward while existing restaurants will revamp to remain relevant.  While the industry faces saturation, restaurant management consultants are likely to become first point of contact for restaurateurs venturing to stabilize the sector.
