With estimated 7000 restaurants already operating and 1000 more expected to open by 2018, UBS aims to provide complete management solutions including business reviews for existing outlets and business planning for new players. Its division's profile will offer market research, feasibility study, business planning, operational support and commercial strategy targeting both new and existing restaurants. While research estimates a drop in the sector, industry experts anticipate a major shift as market faces old versus new dynamic. Heading the newly formed division is UBS' Commercial Director Dillon Daryanani, a serial restaurateur, with extensive experience in creating and managing restaurants.
