The new branch will also house EPG's financial services arm Wall Street Exchange 

Dubai - UAE: 16 May, 2016 –  Emirates Post Group (EPG) has signed an agreement with Dubai South to open its first retail post office at the Business Park Free Zone of Dubai South.

The 300 sq. m. facility, to be located in the Dubai South headquarters building, will be operational from October this year.  It will also house Wall Street Exchange, Emirates Post Group's financial services arm.

The agreement was signed by Chief Commercial Officer of EPG Mr. Ibrahim Bin Karam, and Deputy Chief Operating Officer of Dubai South Mr.  Ahmed Al Ansari, in the presence of Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation, Mr. Khalifa Al Zaffin. Present on the occasion were CEO of Emirates Post Mr. Abdulla Al Ashram and Executive Director of Sales, Mr. Jeremy M. Skyrme, along with several senior officials of Dubai South.

Speaking on the occasion, Ahmed Al Ansari, Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Dubai South, said: “Today's agreement activates a strategic partnership between us and Emirates Post. We are hopeful that it marks the beginning of a wider network that Emirates Post will eventually have at Dubai South.”

He added: “EPG offers niche postal and financial services that add value to the gathering Dubai South ecosystem. We are committed to keep introducing more value-added services as part of our journey to make Dubai South the preferred place to live, work and invest.” 

Chief Commercial Officer of EPG Mr. Ibrahim Bin Karam, said: “Emirates Post is gearing up to cater to the future needs of people who are expected to live and work in the sprawling 145 sq. km. area of Dubai South, which includes the Al Maktoum International Airport and the Expo 2020 site. Today's agreement marks an important first step in that direction. Through this outlet, customers at the Business Park of Dubai South will be able to avail of the full range of our international shipping solutions, logistics, financial services and governmental services.” 

Emirates Post Group has a network of 118 post-offices spread across the UAE, delivering multiple postal and non-postal services, including a number of government services, as well as P.O. Boxes. EPG is constantly monitoring emerging localities and high-growth areas to set up new post-offices for the benefit of the residents.
