UAE, April 06, 2016 - The Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai (SLC) has completed all preparations for participation at this year's edition of the Dubai International Government Achievements Exhibition 2016, which will be held from April 11 to April 13, 2016 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event is being held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai under the theme, ‘Local Governments, Global Achievements.' The SLC presence at the event represents its continuing efforts to highlight and promote its achievements in advancing the legislative process and creating a distinct legal environment based on legislative best practices and profound and efficient legal insight.
H.E. Ahmed Bin Meshar, Secretary General of the SLC, expressed his content with the SLC participation at the Dubai International Government Achievements Exhibition 2016, which has become an ideal platform to promote excellence in government work. The Secretary General further noted that the event will offer them the opportunity to present the SLC's outstanding achievements over the last year placing focus on its progress in achieving the vision of an integrated legislative system that supports Dubai's sustainable development plans.
“The positive results we achieved in the last year serve as strong motivation for us to continue moving forward in the path of leadership and innovation and to reach the highest levels of excellence in legislative and legal work. We look forward to unveiling our new portfolio of development projects and qualitative initiatives that would be an important addition to the efforts of the Dubai Government Excellence Program, and which are aimed at enhancing competitiveness of government services and achieving the aspirations of our wise leadership in making Dubai number one globally,” concluded Bin Meshar.
