The Dubai Green Economy Partnership is an initiative of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, to foster the green economy in Dubai.

November 26, 2015: Today, in the week of Innovation, Dubai Green Economy Partnership took the opportunity to launch a new initiative: The Green Dubai Map.

The Green Dubai Map is a way of helping residents and visitors connect with great resources for sustainable living, since it is a lifestyle that attempts to reduce an individual or society use of the Earth natural resources.

Green Dubai Map will help users locate sites, businesses and establishments of interest for the green economy.  The ultimate aim is to put the spotlight on green activities in Dubai and help both residents and visitors to get the most out of this fantastic city while keeping the eco footprint small.

The initiative is all about making the green economy accessible for everyone and promoting real change.

Users will be able to locate green hotels, organic stores, charging stations and recycling points among others. The website is now available at Dubai GEP website: greeneconomy.ae
