Bit9 + Carbon Black unveils expansion of threat intelligence capabilities at Gitex 2015

UAE, October 19, 2015– Bit9 + Carbon Black, the leader in Next-Generation Endpoint Security, has revealed the significant expansion of its industry-leading threat intelligence capabilities following its partnerships with leading threat intelligence providers AlienVault, BrightPoint Security, ThreatConnect, ThreatQuotient and ThreatStream. The company made the announcement during its participation at this year's edition of Gitex Technology Week, which runs until October 22, 2015 at the Dubai World Trade Center. The collaborations will provide their joint customers with the most open and comprehensive threat intelligence solutions available in the market today.  

Bit9 + Carbon Black will incorporate AlienVault's leading threat intelligence for enhanced threat curation and correlation with its Threat Intelligence Cloud, a comprehensive, aggregated advanced threat intelligence solution. The Threat Intelligence Cloud combines leading software reputation, threat indicator and attack classification services to deliver some of the industry's most powerful, correlated and accurate threat insights. It is a critical component of both the Bit9 Security Platform and the Carbon Black endpoint threat detection and response (ETDR) solution.

The company is also integrating the threat intelligence platforms of BrightPoint Security, ThreatConnect, ThreatQuotient and ThreatStream with its Carbon Black ETDR solution. The move will enable joint customers to apply contextual intelligence to take instant, decisive action against advanced threats and targeted attacks.
