Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai donated last month all unclaimed 'Lost and Found' items to Beit Al Khair Society. Upon receiving the items, Abdullah Alostath, Assistant Executive Manager, Beit Al Khair Society, said, 'We are truly grateful to Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai for pledging its donation to the neediest people and for putting a smile on the faces of orphans and widows as well as those suffering from economic and physical disabilities. We appreciate the hotel's continuous co-operation and efforts in serving the UAE through its charitable initiatives.'

Scott Butcher, General Manager, Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai, said, 'As a hotel policy all 'Lost and Found' items are meticulously recorded and stored for 90 days. These are things left behind or forgotten by guests either in rooms or various public areas. Only items that remain uncollected for over three months are donated for charity. We try our utmost to trace the owner, but when it is not possible to do so, we give these away'.

The 'Lost and Found' items are not always valuable or useful. At times there can be some bizarre things that are disposed off because those may have no takers.
