The Role
We are currently seeking an individual for one of our Dubai based clients, who are a UAE-based real estate and built-environment services group. Their core business include Facilities Management, Property Management and Community Management. They currently seek a Technical Operations Manager for their Facilities Management arm. The role will be based in Dubai and involve managing a large team, delivering TFM services across multiple assets. This will include managing a team of blue-collar workers delivering both planned and reactive maintenance to the portfolio. Candidates should be from a technical MEP background and have experience managing blue collar teams, they will understand KPIs and SLAs and should have a demonstrable track record of developing their internal teams.

Requirements
Qualifications and job requirements: • Candidates must hail from a facilities management background • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical MEP focussed engineering discipline • This is a Client-facing position with strong emphasis on daily operational management and execution • It is a highly technical site so candidates should be from an MEP maintenance related background • Proven ability to mentor, train, and develop team members to enhance performance and capability • Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize and deliver results in fast-paced environments • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
