The Role
A prestigious investment organization in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly capable Accountant to join their finance team on a 6-month contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for finance professionals who have trained within Tier 1 organizations and can operate in a high-performance, highly regulated corporate environment. Please note: The client maintains very high selection standards and will only consider candidates who closely match the required qualifications, technical skills, communication standards, and professional background. Key Responsibilities: Manage Accounts Payable (AP) processes including invoice verification, payment processing, and vendor coordination Support Accounts Receivable (AR) activities including invoicing, collections follow-up, and reconciliations Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of cash balances Assist in monthly close activities and preparation of finance reports Support VAT reporting, tax documentation, and compliance with UAE regulations Assist during internal and external audits Maintain strong financial controls, accuracy, and confidentiality at all times

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline 3 to 5 years of accounting experience within reputable multinational, financial services, sovereign wealth, investment, or Tier 1 organizations Strong working knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations Good understanding of UAE VAT regulations and reporting requirements Experience using Oracle Fusion is highly preferred Excellent command of English (written and spoken) Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Additional Information: Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Contract Duration: 6 months Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possible Visa: Company-sponsored visa can be provided Nationality: Open to all nationalities based on merit Important Note: Only candidates who meet the above criteria and demonstrate experience within high-caliber organizations are likely to be considered.
