The Role We are seeking a skilled Welding Team Leader to oversee our welding operations within the automotive sector. The ideal candidate will lead a team of welders, ensuring high-quality workmanship, maintaining safety standards, and meeting production deadlines in our Ras Al Khaimah facility. Responsibilities: - Lead, mentor, and supervise the welding team to achieve productivity and quality targets. - Ensure all welding processes comply with industry standards and company safety regulations. - Coordinate workflow and manage daily production schedules to meet deadlines. - Conduct regular inspections and quality checks of welds to maintain product standards. - Troubleshoot welding issues and implement effective solutions promptly. - Collaborate with engineering and quality departments to improve welding procedures and product design. - Train new team members and support continuous skill development. - Maintain accurate production and inspection records and reports.
Requirements - Proven experience in welding, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or team leader role. - Strong knowledge of welding techniques, safety standards, and automotive manufacturing processes. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. - Excellent leadership and team management skills. - Good communication and interpersonal abilities. - Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude. - Relevant welding certifications and qualifications are highly desirable. - Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to dynamic production requirements.
