The Role Design, develop, and maintain MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and schema objects Work on data modeling, schema design (Star/Snowflake), and metadata management Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements into technical solutions Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance optimization Perform performance tuning at report, SQL, and database levels Troubleshoot issues related to reports, data, and performance Perform user management, roles, and access control (security setup) Monitor system performance, usage, and optimize Intelligence Server Handle project migrations using Object Manager. Schedule and manage report distribution, subscriptions, and caching
Requirements Strong hands-on experience in MicroStrategy (Developer, Architect, Web) Advanced knowledge of SQL Server. Experience with Power BI (DAX, Data Modeling, Visualization) Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (ETL, Fact/Dimension tables, SCDs) Experience in query optimization and performance tuning Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is a plus
