The Role We are currently partnering with a prominent semi-government real estate developer based in Abu Dhabi and are looking to appoint a Document Controller Officer (Design). This role is responsible for managing and maintaining all documentation within the Design Sector, ensuring accurate tracking, effective organization, and full compliance with company standards and industry regulations. Key Responsibilities: • Manage and control all incoming and outgoing documents within the Design Sector/Department • Maintain a centralized document repository with proper registration and categorization • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely distribution of documents • Implement and monitor document control procedures and workflows • Support the preparation and issuance of drawings, reports, and technical documents • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth document flow and approvals • Conduct audits to ensure adherence to document control processes • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all documentation
Requirements • 3–5 years of experience as a Document Controller in real estate or construction • Strong knowledge of document control processes and systems (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, ACC) • Excellent organizational, communication, and attention to detail skills • Familiarity with design processes and ISO standards is an advantage • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
