The Role We are seeking a Resident Engineer for an engineering consultancy to oversee and manage water infrastructure projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will ensure that engineering standards, safety protocols, and project timelines are met while collaborating closely with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality water solutions. Responsibilities: - Supervise daily construction activities and ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards. - Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and client representatives to ensure smooth project execution. - Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, safety, and workmanship. - Prepare and review progress reports, site documentation, and technical submissions. - Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to prevent project delays. - Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site. - Assist in managing project budgets and schedules to achieve timely completion.
Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. - Proven experience as a Resident Engineer or similar role in water infrastructure projects. - Strong knowledge of water infrastructure design, construction, and standards. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. - Proficient in project management and reporting tools. - Familiarity with UAE construction regulations and safety standards is preferred. - Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and quality.
