The Role Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced QA/QC Engineer (Mechanical) to join our team in DIP, Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality compliance across manufacturing, fabrication, and installation activities, in line with project specifications and international standards. Key Responsibilities Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures in line with project and company requirements Prepare and review Inspection Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements, and quality documentation Conduct in-process, final, and material inspections for fabrication and installation works Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (ASME, AWS, API, ISO, etc.) Monitor welding, piping, and structural activities to ensure quality standards are met Review and approve WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications Coordinate and witness NDT activities (RT, UT, PT, MT) and testing processes Prepare and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and implement corrective actions Conduct internal audits and support ISO 9001:2015 QMS implementation Maintain quality records, reports, and project documentation Liaise with clients, consultants, and third-party inspection agencies Ensure compliance with HSE and quality standards on site
Requirements Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 5–10 years of experience in QA/QC within manufacturing, fabrication, or construction projects Strong knowledge of piping, welding, steel structures, and fabrication processes Experience in NDT inspection and coordination Familiarity with international standards (ASME, AWS, API, ISO) Certification in ISO 9001 Lead Auditor / Internal Auditor preferred Strong understanding of quality systems, documentation, and audits Ability to read and interpret P&ID, isometric drawings, and technical drawings Good communication and coordination skills Preferred Skills Experience in UAE/GCC projects Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma / process improvement Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, MS Office, Navisworks
