The Role Plan and coordinate daily transportation for employees across all locations. Assign vehicles based on manpower requirements and site deployment. Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off in line with shift schedules. Ensure smooth daily transportation operations without disruption. Optimise transportation routes to reduce travel time and fuel cost. Monitor vehicle utilization and avoid idle or underutilized trips. Coordinate with drivers to ensure efficient trip planning. Liaise with site seniors to align transportation with duty rosters. Liaise with the Workshop to ensure vehicle availability and follow vehicles PPM. Manage last minute changes, shift movements, and emergency requirements. Track daily transportation activities and performance. Maintain records of trips, routes, and vehicle usage. Prepare reports on transportation efficiency and utilisation. Ensure all transportation activities comply with Veolia policies and regulations. Monitor driver adherence to schedules and safety requirements. Report and follow up on any incidents or delays. Involved in the development and review of the risk assessment and continual improvement. Provide accurate information to support team member’s appraisal. Handling problems or complaints in his/her area of responsibility. Keep him/herself up to date with rules, regulations and Veolia policy. Keep his/her seniors fully informed about work progress, including present and potential work situations, and suggest new methods to improve work conditions. Make his/her team members aware of their responsibilities, and the importance of following Veolia rules, Procedures and Work Instructions. Regularly review team size to ensure the number of employees matches contracts’ requirements and workload. Recording duty times, preparing time-sheets and controlling overtime to be in line with the budget. Plan subordinates work schedule and leave/off days to agreed levels to ensure continuity of business, ensure employees take leave in line with UAE labour law and return from leave on time. Follow Veolia procedures for emergencies, vehicle damage etc. Diligently perform any other reasonable work or related tasks at the request of his/her senior.
Requirements Hold a relevant educational qualification from a recognized and reputable academic institution suitable for the role. Minimum 4 years of experience in transportation coordination and team management. Excellent knowledge of Abu Dhabi locations and road routes. Valid UAE light vehicle driving license. Proficiency in Google Suite and related applications. Strong planning, organizing, and time management skills. Excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills. Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and maintain flexibility. Good command of written and spoken English and Hindi/Urdu is required. Arabic language skills will be an added advantage.
