The Role Position Title: Draftsman (ID Fit-Out & Joinery) Employment Type: Full- Time Salary AED: Up to 10K inclusive depending on experience and qualifications Job Location: Abu Dhabi About the Client: A leading Abu Dhabi based interior design and fit-out company with over 25 years of experience delivering high-end, turnkey interior solutions across diverse industries. Job Description: § Prepare and develop detailed shop drawings, IFC drawings, and as-built drawings for a range of projects including high-end residential villas, commercial offices, retail spaces, and hospitality projects (restaurants, cafés, hotels), ensuring full compliance with design intent, authority standards, and site conditions. § Produce comprehensive joinery and millwork drawings such as wardrobes, kitchens, vanities, feature walls, ceilings, and custom furniture, including detailed sections, elevations, and material specifications suitable for factory production and on-site installation. § Coordinate with design, estimation, and project execution teams to translate concepts into technically sound drawings, resolve design clashes, and incorporate site conditions, MEP coordination, and material selections into final outputs. § Conduct site visits, measurements, and drawing validations, ensuring accuracy prior to production, while maintaining strict version control and timely submission of drawings to support project timelines and approvals.
Requirements Qualifications: § Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field, with 3–5 years of UAE experience in interior fit-out and joinery drafting. § Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max, or Revit is an advantage. § Solid experience in joinery detailing and production drawings across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, with a good understanding of materials, finishes, and fabrication processes. § Ability to interpret design concepts, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines with strong attention to detail.
