The Role
Project Manager responsible for coordinating design, procurement, and construction activities while leading design review and design coordination processes. Ensures project delivery in accordance with client requirements, contract specifications, quality standards, and project schedules while maintaining safety and efficient stakeholder collaboration. 1. Led overall project coordination ensuring design and construction interfaces were identified and addressed throughout all stages of the project lifecycle. 2. Coordinated with technical teams in managing design consultants and other external service providers. 3. Organized and facilitated design review meetings and communicated design acceptance to the Contractor. 4. Reviewed design submissions to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and contractual requirements. 5. Communicated design changes to relevant members of the project team and stakeholders to ensure proper implementation. 6. Managed project delivery including stakeholder coordination, health & safety, risk management, quality assurance, scheduling, and contract administration. 7. Ensured projects were delivered to the client’s satisfaction in terms of quality, cost, and schedule. 8. Supported and managed the project team by ensuring appropriate resources were allocated to meet project and client requirements. 9. Managed subcontractors and coordinated resources working remotely from the core project team. 10. Ensured the Contractor’s compliance with the Contract Documents and project specifications. 11. Reviewed and approved contractor schedules, quality plans, safety plans, and logistics plans. 12. Monitored project progress and performance including costs, schedules, risks, and key issues, and reported regularly to stakeholders and senior management. 13. Ensured adherence to project specifications, facilitated required permits, managed contractors, and provided progress updates to senior management. 14. Evaluated and addressed contractor claims, variations, and extension of time (EOT) requests in accordance with contract provisions. 15. Maintained comprehensive project documentation including progress reports, RFIs, change orders, payment certificates, and correspondence. 16. Managed the flow of project information between the project team and the client through regular meetings and written communication. 17. Chaired progress meetings and prepared and distributed minutes of meetings to relevant stakeholders. 18. Enforced health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across all project activities. 19. Reviewed and approved project closeout documentation including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, and related records. 20. Successfully managed the completion and handover of project assets and properties to the client.

Requirements
Education BSc, BEng, BA or Equivalent Experience More than 20 years of experience, 7 years of related experience, with regional/Middle East experience required Should be recognised as an authority on the technical subject and shall possess UPDA Certification Class A Engineering consultancy experience of 7 years is mandatory
