The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Officer to join our dynamic team in Ajman. The ideal candidate will manage financial records and ensure accuracy in bookkeeping and accounting processes within the Chemical manufacturing sector. Responsibilities: - Maintain and update financial records and ledgers. - Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and timely. - Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper documentation of all transactions. - Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. - Coordinate with auditors during financial audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. - Monitor and control expenses to align with budgetary guidelines. - Support payroll processing and ensure accurate salary payments. - Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve any billing or payment issues.
Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - Proven experience as an Accounts Officer or in a similar accounting role, preferably within the manufacturing industry. - Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. - Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel. - High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Good communication skills, both written and verbal. - Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is an advantage.
